Although recruitment and staffing industry is one of the top industries in Minnesota and North Dakota; however all the agencies are focused on catering the business needs of their clients through hiring Native Americans. In such case, an analysis of the future trends and less focus of businesses on hiring new Americans identifies the prevailing gap in this industry.
Soma employment solutions is an effort to fill this projected gap between workforce demand and supply by focusing exclusively on attracting the new Americans in these developed states and hence fulfill the workforce needs of different businesses respectively.
The company is founded by Abdishakur Mohamed, a highly passionate corporate HR professional having an extensive experience in recruitment, training and talent acquisition consultancy for the startups, small and medium enterprise and large multi-national businesses.
The Company cultivates a highly productive working environment which provides a reliable solutions to the partners catering the needs and requirements of our clients – both applicants and the businesses. Our Founder
Abdishakur Mohamed
Abdishakur Mohamed is the Founder & CEO of Soma Employment Solutions. While pursuing his academic career in Moorhead, Mohamed realized that businesses prefer to hire Native Americans undermining the skills and competencies of immigrants or New Americans. This discrimination and lack of opportunities for the New Americans ignited him to advocate the need for perceptual change and strive hard to create job opportunities for the immigrants. Since then, Mohamed has dedicated himself on helping the new Americans to connect with the companies and find a suitable job which matches their profile and skills set. On the other side, Mohamed acts as a New American ambassador and is on the outlook to establish affiliations with businesses by convincing them of the vitality of hiring New Americans for the growth and sustainability of their firms. Prior to this role, Abdishakur has worked with various organizations including Doherty staffing solutions And Afro American development association which has unleashed the hidden potential of the founder and instilled all the required skills which have further helped him establish and grow Soma employment Solutions. Mohamed has a wider yet unique and optimistic perspective which is why he believes that staffing is not merely a numbers game but a relationship-building business.
