Abdishakur Mohamed is the Founder & CEO of Soma Employment Solutions. While pursuing his academic career in Moorhead, Mohamed realized that businesses prefer to hire Native Americans undermining the skills and competencies of immigrants or New Americans. This discrimination and lack of opportunities for the New Americans ignited him to advocate the need for perceptual change and strive hard to create job opportunities for the immigrants. Since then, Mohamed has dedicated himself on helping the new Americans to connect with the companies and find a suitable job which matches their profile and skills set. On the other side, Mohamed acts as a New American ambassador and is on the outlook to establish affiliations with businesses by convincing them of the vitality of hiring New Americans for the growth and sustainability of their firms. Prior to this role, Abdishakur has worked with various organizations including Doherty staffing solutions And Afro American development association which has unleashed the hidden potential of the founder and instilled all the required skills which have further helped him establish and grow Soma employment Solutions.
